| Just dropped in to say hi. I have been thinking about electric, looking at TRex 450SE & the MX 400 Pro. Still undecided on radio & other goodies. I have been playing around with RealFlight G3 & FMS, but my Wingman Force 3D is a little loose at center, makes it a B!+ch to fly though. Any suggestions, ideas or whatever about getting into the hobby will be appreciated.![]() |

| Re: Stopping by Hey John ![]() If I was you Id save a bit of money and get the t-Rex 450XL. For a beginner, they fly just the same and the difference in price will just about buy you a spare heli Mx 400 Pro is more or less the same heli as the t-Rex (I think). Be aware that RTF and ARTF dont really mean that much in model helicopters. Basically they mean that they are assembled for you and they might be test flown. You should still check the machine over carefully before committing it to flight. When it comes to Radio gear, the only thing Id say is unless you are on a tight budget, get the Futaba GY401 gyro or an equvilant like a CSM 420. It costs a lot more than cheaper gyros but there is a good reason for that. Good luck with it and let us know how you go with it, and feel free to ask stuff ![]() Take care... Azzy

| Re: Stopping by Thanks Azzy. For now, I think of getting a radio to use with RealFlight (been looking at the Futaba 7CHP) & save up some money for the heli latter. Hospital bills has a habit of getting in the way though. ![]() |
