| Hi, I've had my heli "flying" for a few seconds now and I must admin it's quite difficult. Even flown it into the walls and crashed a few times :| But today it won't fly. It starts of normally, but when I give it enough throttle the red light on the "Mixer Speed Gyro Control System" turns on and it won't speed up enough to leave the floor. There is a small rift on the edge of one of the rotor blades, but no other visible damage to the heli. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Thanks, j0rn |

| Re: Honey Bee CP2 won't fly... Sounds like your battery is not charged to its peak the red light means that the throttle is at full. Check to see if the pitch on the blades is set right and all ball links are set right on the servos and rotor head. What ever you do make sure that you have a good charger lipos are real sensitive to charging and need to be kept balanced. |

| Re: Honey Bee CP2 won't fly... Thanks! I'm currently recharging the battery and will try again in about 1 hour. How can I change the pitch of the blades? I was under the impression that the pitch authmatically increased as the throtle increased... Also I'm quite sure that my gain and proposion on the gyro is not correct. Can this be the reason why I'm not able to lift-off? It seems to be that changing this is not much point until flying because of the thurbulence when the heli is at the floor. Is this correct? |

| Re: Honey Bee CP2 won't fly... Sorry to say this but,,, you have a lot to learn about setting up a Honey Bee cp2.... I could be a lot of things.. First,,, you don't just fly into walls and hope it will still keep working !! Next,, get some training gear on it. And use only the ones made for it! Not heavy home made things! The your main motor could already be bad! They don't like hitting things! I use to try and get 15 battery packs out of one motor and I used a heat-sink on main and tail motors for day one.. Also,, your battery could be out of balance . I have learned all this the hard ways. I now know a lot more and have mover on to a Trex!! Start with the main motor and stop hitting things !!!

| Re: Honey Bee CP2 won't fly... Check the pitch on the blades as the throttle is put in the pitch of the blades must increse a full throttle the pitch should be around 9 degrees positive at half throttle they should be around 6 degrees no throttle 0 degrees. If you don't have a pitch guage its time to buy one you can get a eFlite one from e-bay for about $10. |
