Re: What tools will I need to build an maintain?

The basic tools you need are:

one set of allen keys...metric usually
small screwdrivers....cross head and straight head
smaller screwdrivers...watch/spectacle repair type...ideal for fiddly things
threadlock fluid...the medium strength stuff
small socket set...deep reach type...metric

theres loads of things to get really....soldering equipment is handy....do learn to solder....you will need to do this from time to time.

keep everything in a case....and look after it well....

Don't forget to get a pitch gage. Ball link pliers and blade balancer are also good to have in your tool box.

And a ball reamer is extremely useful for the T-Rex as well.

Take care... Azzy

Doh!!! I forgot some important items there.....the tools for balancing and pitch measuring are really crucial.....though these items can be made at home....depends on how tight a budget you have.

Aztek....if you read this....I am kitting out my sceadu 30 evo....the fixed length links are quite tight? did you ream yours out? I am keen to see how this heli flys...I have heard that they are good helis.
