| Hi, I am just looking into purchasing and learning to fly r/c helis and have already purchased the real flight simulator G2 I have spent many hours hovering and teaching myself the basics before even buying an actual heli . Anyway I was just a bit confused with the simulator because the "Learner" with the training skids is very easy to fly around yet the same heli without the trainer skids is totaly different has anyone else noticed this and know why it is I dont think it is just the skids because the scheizer 300 is also very easy to fly and it doesnt have them is it a different gyro setup or something or am I just asking a stupid question anyway any feedback is much appreciated |

| Yeah I though it might be the gyro but have checked all the settings on both choppers and they are all the same dont get me wrong guys when I mean easy to fly I just mean "easier" to fly what happens is when you are flying the trainer or the shweizer around say down the runway and you pull back on the stick to slow down once the chopper slows it automaticaly flips itsself around with its nose pointing down the way the tail was thus making it easy to handle when in forward flight not much tail rotor needed at all. But when you fly the same heli without the training skids it wont do this it takes cyclic, yaw and you have to pull back which is right and which is wrong im picking the training one is wrong cause it seems too easy although I have heard people say that they act like planes once in forward flight I have been flying r/c planes for quite a while but am lost when it comes to the helis any thoughs. ![]() |
