| Electric beginner I am new in this hobby and interested in buying an electric helicopter that can fly good indoors. I dont really care about the prize but i do not wanna go crazy with it. I am looking for as much stability as possible and something good to start with. I'd really appreciate it if u can give me some advice on what to buy! thanx reinard Last edited by Reinard : 07-21-2003 at 11:15 PM. |

| Indoor Heli's hi Reinard. The answer to your question is that the smaller the heli the less stable it is in flight, It is purely down to the fliers skill level that makes them seem stable. There is a good choise of indoor heli's though and if I had to buy one I would have to choose between 2, Micro Heli's The Picolo and the Hoverfly. Larger indoor model. Voyager E. All can be found at the link. sellect Heli kits, http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/acatalog/m_index.htm The reason for the picolo choise is this is a proven little model that can be converted to CP (collective pitch) and will fly inverted. The reason for the hoverfly is that you can buy the package take it home and fly it unlimited buy time. This is because it runs from mains power supply. With the larger voyager E you will get more buy the way of stability. However I have seen this fly and that is why I would go for this as a larger model for sports hall flying or outdoor. Not realy for a living room. These are personal opinions however and the choise is ultimately yours, Good luck, Daz. Last edited by Daz(DJLFlapper) : 07-22-2003 at 07:03 AM. |
