| Ni-Cad Baterries? Hi, My Jr TX and RX batteries need charged for 20-24 hours before first use, now my main problem is that I dont have time to spend 24 hours home, so my question is, do I need to worry about leaving these batteries home alone for a few hours or is it safe to leave them charging home alone. If they arent safe to leave home alone is it ok to charge them in seperate periods of time, (12 hours now, 12 hours tomorrow). Thanks, John

| Re: Ni-Cad Baterries? Unlike lipo batteries, you can probably leave them alone for a few hours or charge them in stages if you need to.I have severely overcharged nicads [due to brain freeze] and they get hot but don't explode. The TX and RX batteries charge at a slow rate-I used to charge my old Futaba batteries overnight and never had a problem.
