Esky 4-1 Controller Question

My (new) Esky HoneyBee CP2 arrived, but the main roter doesn't turn. I suspect a short in the 4-1 controller.

Can someone explain the led lights on the 4-1?

When I plug it into the battery, with the Remote turned off, it blinks red/green. When the Remote turns on, it turns red.

At that point I can control the servos, but the motor never kicks in (main or tail).

Help!

Ed

The Esky controler will blink red green with out the controler on you need to turn on the tx first then plug in the battery. With the throttle down the rx will blink 3 to 5 times red than blink 3 to 5 times green at that point it will go solid green and you are good to go.

Re: Esky 4-1 Controller Question

It comfirmed for me that the 4in1 is broken. I really want to like the heli! I have sent email back to xheli .comn to see how to proceed, but I suspect I will need to replace everything.

Make sure your throttle stick and trim are both down or it will stay red. I thought the same thing until I noticed my trim was up a little bit. It's a safety so your heli won't take off as soon as you plug it in.

Re: Esky 4-1 Controller Question

Thank you thank you thank you! That was it! I had to...

1) set trim and throttle down (I never thought about trim)
2) plug in battery
3) wait a few seconds for light to turn green
4) wait for green light to stop blinking.

What a wasted weekend! I wish there were more docomentation!

So let me ask a question - what are the two toggle switches at the top of the tx? I have the std tx that came with the CP2.
