Help a newbie

I am looking for recommendations. I am looking for indoor electric heli. 3D and has about 15-20 minutes flight time. Also, are they safe? Are the blades gonna cut if they hit someone? And durable! I know it's alot to ask but any info is appreciated.

Cool Re: Help a newbie

For indoor flying you really don't need 3D unless you have a big room to fly in.It would be tough to invert a heli in a living room! All helis will cause injury if they cotact human anatomy!A 4 channel heli like the Dragonfly #4 will take quite a beating and still fly[as long as you kill throttle when crashing!].

Re: Help a newbie

yes i had a walkera 4 and it took alot of crashes before i burnt up the motor and reciever. I don't recommend a collective pitch heli for learning since there are so many parts to break if you crash...which you will..so i would look at a fixed pitch heli like a dragonfly or honeybee fp. Good luck..Also i would look into a sim. Will help you with orientation and reflexes.
