Heli go sideways...

Hi expert out there.

I am a beginner and i just got a Thunderbird II.
However when i try to lift off, the heli will go sideways.
After i adjusted the gyro, the heli goes in circle (no more sideways).
At least it stay in a small spot. hehehe

Pls advise what should i do, where did it went wrong. I also did adjust the stabilizers, but not much of a difference.

Sad.....

Cool Re: Heli go sideways...

The 4 channel micros always have a tendency to veer left on takeoff-you need to takeoff quickly or hold a little right stick until you are out of ground effect[about 3 ft. high].Adjust gyro to stop spinning and level the swashplate as best you can then use trims to stabilize the heli.

Re: Heli go sideways...

Sorry for my ignorance, what is a squashplate ?

If i stop the rear rotor completely, it will go in circle.
If i moderate the rear rotor, it wont go in circle but pitch to sideways.

Can the thunderbird 2 actually hovers beautifully ? Sigh.

Need more help.....
