which club?

I know there is a r/c plane club near me, but I havn't seen any helis there. Do they have heli clubs? If so is 1 near me..west yorks
So much help neaded in starting up in helis. I don't want to get my dream (r/c heli) and splat it as my brother did with his plane...and my dad...lol...build it/start it/throw it /fly it.....CRASH!!!BANG!!..) and crash it. They are a lot harder than planes ( I think) to fly. If anyone lives near yorkshire (80 miles or so) I would be gratefull foe advise.......sorry if my spelling is bad ...its late and have had a bad day at work..lol.....hate typing!

Heli/Plane

Hi,
I thought that only planes flew at my most local sight but when I went and asked many years ago. I found that there where a few heli fliers. The thing to do is ask at all your local clubs, Actualy go along and visit. I'm sure you won't be disapionted.

Regards,
Daz.

They may now, but about 15 years ago I used to live close enough to see what was flying and there was no helis. How do you find where your local clubs are??????

B,m,f,a

Hi,
If you log on to the B,M,F,A site they have a list of all the model flying clubs that are registerd throughout Britain.
http://www.bmfa.org/
This is also where you can buy a years membership and get insured (just in case).
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Daz.
