| First successful loops Yep, pulled off my first loops last night after I got home from work, without incident. My chest filled with pride, especiallly as I managed to rotate the heli and come back to the pad nose first for a safe landing. OK, this should probably be in the Sim section, as it wasn't for real and only in G3, but it sure felt good to me. I managed to get hold of a model TRex for G3 and try and "learn" about my potential new heli after I "move up" from my HoneyBee FP. Must say, the Trex is sure light on the stick. I'm not sure how acurate the model is, not having flown a real one, and G3 didn't recognise the 2100 battery, so had to change it for a 2000, but still, the way I was smashing blades it could be a little longer before I shell out for one of those. But hey, who cares, I pulled a loop!! ![]() |

| Re: First successful loops lol well done wykewing. I dont have G3 but I do have Reflex XTR with a T-Rex and a real 450x to compare it to. I can tell you that as far as Reflex goes, the real trex is a bit less skittish than the simed version therefore if you can fly the simed one you will be able to have a good stab at flying the real one. That said, the trex is a pretty squirly little beast. Compare it to a nitro heli on your sim and you'll see what I mean. Can I come and watch when you try the loop for real? ![]() Take care....
