honeybee upgrades

hey guys. i have been playing with my honeybee quite alot now.

and now that i have bought it im at that point we all get to. what can i upgrade. what can i improve.

my exact model code: EK1H-E004. (in case this limits my options)

what i want.

better stability
quicker response
better durability
extra bits that make my heli look cool

also. i have a little problem with the little stem that holds the tail.
it ofen hits the ground. does it matter if i take the side cutters to it and trim say 5mm off?

THERE arent many if any upgrades that will be great
for fp
fp is limited...mabey some better blades? diff pinions in motor...but the lack of ablity to change things like cp dosent allow u to change up differnt charistics.
the money spent on fp upgrades...(not much diff) just get used to fp and buy cp.

Re: honeybee upgrades

Man, you don't hang around. You've only recently got that bird. But for what it's worth, the HB isn't really upgradeable. The next step is to get a CP heli but that can cost (and then some). I was going down the route of a TRex, and all its extra bling (CNC milled bits in lovely colours) but am now considering a HoneyBee King or Cool, which have started to attract the attention of the "blingers". And it's cheaper than a TRex.

ok what i have done to get the things that i want
i just had to replace my tail boom and the one i cut to put in it is a little longer and that seems to make it a little more stable

i gained a little bit of response by sliding the weights on my flybar in a little bit. might put them in a little bit more. the bird is still a little slow for my liking.

and thats about as far as i have made it so far

Re: honeybee upgrades

walkera,shogun,mx400,x400
are all simular to trex except longer tail boom and slightly larger head
if u brought one of these models u could easily buy the align parts and surely fall under what it would cost for the whole trex and save a lot of money
