Help with building Raptor 30

Hi all,
I just bought a Rapter 30 V2 kit. I am trying to build it but I am stuck. The problem I have is trying to put on the snap rings onto the Main Drive Gear. Surely I don't have to force them on? I have emailed my model shop but they are taking some time to reply - it is frustrating waiting for a reply. They did say something about using a tube - but what type of tube?
Any response would be hugely appreciated.

I managed to get the snap rings on - but I then realised that I put the thing in the middle the wrong way up!!! Now to spend the next day trying to get the ring off!!

Guys,
there is a tool used to fit thses rings.
Drop down to your local harware store and ask for a set of circlip pliers.
They make life a hell of a lot easier!
