Hi I live in the u.k. I am very new to rc helis. I am thinking to get one for the summer. I have my eye on the feda hummingbird-mini draganfly. I only have ?170 which is about $285. I am looking for a beginner helicopter that flies good outdoors aswell as indoors. I simply cannot get more money. Is it a good idea to buy from ebay? I would really appreciate it if someone replied Last edited by thebeginner : 06-18-2003 at 10:29 AM. |

| thats a tuff one mate. this game is an expensive one. If you do not already have some equipmment you may not be able to get off the ground with only L170. it took me quite a while to get a heli. Good luck |

| The problem is not the initial cost. The problem is when you add in upgrades, replacement parts. My first chopper, the piccolo is fairly cheap initially. But with replacement parts, upgrades etc, I have spent more that $1000 US. This is a great hobby but an expensive one! Have fun but save some money! Doc ![]()
