| Leak on the TT39 Hi everybody. I have just finished to set up mi Raptor 30 v2. I have started the engine (the TT39 that comes with the Raptor kit) and, as far as I can see, it seems to be OK. The sound is normal and it keeps in idle without stopping. I still dont make it hover because I havn't attached the blades, but I've tried to rev up and down the engine and everything seems to be normal. Well, in fact there is a problem. A lot of oil (I think its oil nad I think its a lot) is leaking from somewhere in the engine. I'm not really sure but I think it comes from the joint between the engine and the muffler. ?Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. Best regards. |

| Oil Since your breaking in the engine, it should be running rich at first. This means plenty of oil should be present. If the oil is coming from where the exhaust bolts on, make sure it's tight, and if it is, you may need to change the gasket in there. Good luck ![]() |

| Re: Leak on the TT39 That's normal especially when you're running it at idle most of the time. The 'leak' is prob due to the muffler and the engine not being secured enough, or your gasket needs a change. The screws on the muffler needs retightening now and then. Quote:
