Caliber 30 Security problem.

Hi,

I have crashed my Caliber 30 due a construction error of the model.
The Mast Stopper (CA3035) it's very fragil and slipery. It slides down the Mast with great easiness. It does not have any screw in direct contact with the main mast, and besides the mast itself is smooth.
When the Mast stopper slides make the Main gear to go up and brake all the body of the Helicopter, including the Clutch lining and the side frames.

Be very carefull with this machines.

I dissuade everyone of buying one of this "babys".

Vinny

Re: Caliber 30 Security problem.

Seems to be a "one off" or variable design fault... I've had no problem at all with my caliber 30, except the tail servo on boom mount slipped a bit, although this had been identified and they left a note saying to superglue it in place anyway!
I think this heli is excellent, and fairly stable, I've yet to crash mine, its very quiet and responsive for its size engine, and not "tacky" at all! please... no caliber 30 bashing withought evidence from a large survey .
