Walkera G011 Gyro

I want to use this gyro on the JR venture 30 heli. I can not find out by search if any one has used it on a gas powered heli before. Its full of features seems to be compable to the Futaba 401 but much cheaper in price.

Im not 3d pilot at all and want a stable tail for forward loops and rolls for now.

I also have a Align RCE 500x on a electric heli but im told this gyro is to small to handle a large craft like the venture 30 heli.

Help me Obewan I dont want to go broke buying a gyro if I can help it

Re: Walkera G011 Gyro

It will work fine but make sure that you use extra vibration isolation as the Walkera gyro like the Align gyro were made for an electric heli and as such they don't have the extra vibration resistance. I like the Walkera gyros but they have the temperature drift problem that is common to all of the cheaper gyros. You just have to fly the tail alittle more on cool days.
