| Re: Raptor 30 V2 Your Story Sounds Like Mine At First. Ive Gone Through About Six Different Electric Helis. I Came To The Conclusion. I Needed A Nitro Heli. And I Also Chose The Raptor 30 V2. Yesterday Was My Birthday. My Wife Knows How Bad I Wanted It.and She Kicked Me The Cash To Run To My Local Hobby Store And Get The One I Had My Eyes On For Some Time Now.i Knew Id Have To Buy More Than Just The Box The Raptor Came In Before I Hit The Skys. But For Now I Was Happy With It. I Got Home. And Opened The Box. And I Was Disapointed To Find That There Wasnt All The Parts That They Showed I Should Have Had In The Box.there Were No Tail Rotor Blades, Or Main Rotor Blade Plastic Things That Sandwich The Main Rotor Blades Before You Install Them In The Rotor Blade Grips, Also There Is A Clip That Goes Under The Front Bottom Of Canopy, And It Bums Me Out That I Paid $460.00 For This And All Parts Were Not There. And Worse Than That Is I Know It Isnt The Fault Of My Local Hobby Store. Cuz The Factory Seal On The Box Was Not Broke. I Called The Store. And Tommorrow They Expect Me To Visit. They Said Theywere Gonna Help Me Out. So Kudos To Hobbie People In Vegas, Boulder Hwy. Nice Guys There. And By The Way. My Raptor Is An Awsome Sight. And I Cant Wait To Get Her Up In The Air. Thanx Jeff Etzel |

| Re: Raptor 30 V2 I would say that your set up would do to start with. as you get better the next thing will be a 50 hyper engine and a 50 convertion kit then you will start to have some fun. i fly a 90 se when its in one big bit and not in small bits all over the grass. welcome to nitro you will never go back to those little toys again.

| Re: Raptor 30 V2 i use that heli...upgraded to a JR radio with alot more controls and curves, etc and now love the kit...still learning the basics and now trying to master reverse controls, etc. don't want to rush it! its a nice wee heli so far...and ive read with that 50 conversion kit and a larger engine it can handle a good few tricks |

| Re: Raptor 30 V2 I would do everything you posted except the controler Id go with the dx7, read the raves its awsome. The gy401 is also awsome, the os 37 is a monster in a little package, once tuned it delivers breath taking power at little rpm (kind of like a honda). HAVE FUN!! |

| Hi if you have done some heli flying before i would go for a 50 size as you will want to move up to that size very soon after starting. but saying that well come to the world of ic helies i fly a 90 and a 600n and would never go back to a park flyer.
