cx vs. brick wall-my first (worthwile)outdoor cx adventure

so i finally got the guts to take the "training wheels" off my blade cx. i been flying quite nicely in my house, and at my work, where i have a lot of floorspace to play with.
anyhow, i lucked out and caught a time where there was zero wind, in the courtyard of my apartments.
so i'm having a blast zippin this thing all over the courtyard, finally really getting a feel for what this heli is capable of. so i made a few circles, figure 8's at a pretty high speed (for what a cx will does).
anyhow i got cocky and i'm making this sweet banked circle as fast as i can get it to go and it goes 360 degrees around, and thid things moving. well, i'd keep it going in that circle for another pass, and it was sweet- i was really impressed with how fast it was actually going. then BANG. i was so busy watching and following the heli i didn't realize i had inadvertinly moved a little closer to the little rental office building that stands at the end of our courtyard. she slammed right into the wall as fast as i could get her to move. and it hit the wall up high, so of course, it slammed into the ground from there.

the amazing part- i broke only the following:
landing skid,1
lower rotor head
bent flybar 1 (i was able to bend it back)
and i put a nice little crack in the body (it's the apache body)
the funniest thing- no blades even broke.
i had all of these parts in my little stock that i try and keep. eflite parts are reasonable, and available locally. whenever i break something, i buy 2,3replacements depending on what part. then i'm always able to fix it and get it back in the air asap.
THESE HELIS ARE PRETTY TOUGH-this isn't the first time i crashed it, although it was the worst, and it keeps on flying, just some quick parts swapping. i have had lesser crashes break more parts...

i can't wait to get into a blade cp. coming soon.
these cx's are rarely even usable outside. just when the wind's totally dead -

Sorry to here that you crashed,

It does happen to us all at some stage. It is very important to be aware of your area and where you are inside it. This applies even more with Collective pitch heli's as they can and have done some damage to even concrette.

Hope you get up again soon. Fly safe.
