| So I layed my picco z on the couch to charge and walked out of the room.... it was there for about 5 minutes and i came back and my new german shepard puppy was chewing on it!!! I grabbed the Picco and it looked ruined... he pulled the back blade off and chewed it up, he bit up the rotor guards and bit up the body... he also chewed off the tail truss fins and everything. so I went ahead and tried some surgery haha I got everything back together, i just took off the rotor guards glued up the back blade, and made a tail truss fin and the rest of the sticker part from tape... I got it back running and SOMEHOW it flies 100 times better then before I have no idea how and I was soooo surprised! and it doesn't even look half bad with all the modifications i did.... Also this is my first post on here! |

| Re: Amazing Picco Z Surgery Story Hi, I had to laugh at your dog getting in there and forcing you to do some designer work. LOL Anyway the fact that it flys better now is probably due to the center of gravity having been affected on it as it has lost some wieght around the back probably. I am glad you got it flying again. Mine has proven to be extreemly tough and user freindly too. Its amazing how much fun this is. just a shame that it s not fully controllable. ![]()

| Re: Amazing Picco Z Surgery Story I am still waiting for mine...its on a backorder because demand is so high....I reckon its only a matter of time for a fully controllable one to come out next....the designer will have taken this on board I am sure. I flew a picco the other day....its such fun and so tough that its sheer value for money. Rob |

| Re: Amazing Picco Z Surgery Story Hay Chevy That's got to be the best Heli mod story I have ever herd. Maybe they should offer a puppy as tuning equipment with every picco z . LOL

| Re: Amazing Picco Z Surgery Story Are you guys talking about the same picco z that you can buy at radio shack for 29.99 the one with blinking lights? Also I think air hogs has one now that looks exactly the same but is 2 payments of 19.99 plus shipping and handling.

| Re: Amazing Picco Z Surgery Story Mine has recovered from its bout with a pot full of leftover pasta water. They float rather nicely, but they're not entirely waterproof I've also learned to keep it well hidden from the cat when it's not in use Radio Shack also sells the MicroMosquito which is a 3 channel co-axial about the same size as the Picco. What's really impressive is the engineering that went into making a co-axial that small.
