Red face Elecric Helis(Great toys for Kittens)

I was out in my yard trying my new hm-04, when 2 of my kittens decided to investigate this new bird to the neighbourhood. Fast response on the throttle avoided an accident. Almost as exciting as the time 2 friends of mine tried to tow a glider into the air with a gas helicopter. You guessed it , when the tow cord was released it went into blades of the copter. Spectacular crash followed.Just goes to show anything can happen when not expected

Well, my cat tryed to fly my walkera 22e. I was hovering it in the den when the batteries started to go so i landed. I set the TX down on the couch i was sitting on and walked over to my heli when my cat decided the throttle lever would make a nice chin scratcher, to make a long story short carbon fiber blades can cut pretty deep into your arm even on a dieing battery.

ouch!!!

Yea, sitting a controller down with all power still on is never a good idea. I barely avoided messing up a ceiling back in november. Hows your arm by the way?

Theres some quite funny footage of cats versus mini electric helis on youtube....you will think 'poor cat' that swot must have hurt its paw....the favorite heli seems to be the Picco z I have ordered one myself but it seems these are so popular theres a waiting list....got to fly one the other day though....I was most impressed....its not the most awsome heli but for its price and what it can do its a milestone....and its not going to hurt a cats paw by the way

Re: Elecric Helis(Great toys for Kittens)

I have got the Picco z myself and let me tell you it is a great bit of fun for everything!!!! dogs cats 3yr old Kids. Nelsters Daughter flies the one I got and she loves it. Nelster was haveing a flight of it in his livingroom and his daughter stuck her hand straight into the heli rotors. It didn't even leave a mark, But it does make me worry about being round her with anything bigger. As for cats, our cat has had a go at mine and she ran off but now you only got to get it out ans she is there waiting for her chance to kill it.

The best thing is when it is on the floor on its side the cat is there and you blip the throttle. It does a great impression of a dieing fly and the cat gets very exited. I just hope she don't grab it and run out the cat flap with it
