Talking 3 year old flight

My son at the age of 3 sat down today and said he wanted to play my game. that game being a sim, so i gave the controler up and let him have some fun. I can back later and to my suprise he was keeping the heli in the air for the most part . I was a varry happy dad at that point. The flight look like a mix of yungblood and Hommer simpson . The point is the he could sorta fly on the sim and was geting better. He is probly going to out do my by the time he is of age to fly a real rc. Look at my pride at work.

Re: 3 year old flight

Try e-sky lama 2 or blade Cx dual rotor helis only indoor use and can fly when set up corectly more than 30 sec hands of the sticks. Only the gyro is **** but when you get used to it it helps you learn how to control the tail shift,

Re: 3 year old flight

How is the lama2. My blade cx had crap parts and never stayed trimed. level out the swash plate, track the blades even out the mix and within a 2 or 3 charges without and parts changed or any damage it whould not work. you can unplug and replug the bat and get same thing. so what im geting at will the lama stay trimed or are all coaxils crap like that. if so im thinking fp single main like the picolo or walkare #4. He has 2 years or so befor he will tuch real rc. so input on pros and cons. as for my cx it is my dads problum now.

Re: 3 year old flight

I don't think a kid should be "playing" with any heli rc bigger than about 6 or 7in. rotor span. My 10 year old grandson plays with a airhog reflex, it has coaxal rotors with two very small props on each side that help you control left / right, forward / backwards. It's pretty fun! The blades are soft so you can't get hurt. There aout $30 to $50.
