kyosho caliber

I get it in the air but cant keep it from going side to side. I think its my rear rotor but how do I check it to see if it is bad. I flew it like 3 times total and crashed it about 3 times total. But it has always been on the side with the main blades hitting the dirt. I can hover it about 3 ft but it is always wanting to move to one side. Any suggestions?

Re: kyosho caliber

First off make sure that it is balanced well and that the rotor blades are balanced and tracking well,it sounds like the radio needs to be trimed up some the movement to the left is natural because of rotor torque nothing else if it were your tail rotor it would be spinning in circles not a left to right movement.I think that if you balance up the heli and make sure tracking is good and blade balance is good you should be fine alot of your problem sounds like a pilot control issue because these things require constant input on the sticks to fly correctly you have to always be moving the sticks to fly one of these you just cannot take off and then do nothing because the natural forces at work will crash it as sure as you are trying to fly it. Also use small movements on the stick a well set up heli will react to the smallest input on the stick when I fly if you looked at the sticks you would have to look hard to see me move them because I am just touching them not pushing them some times it takes a big input but not very often, when you put in large inputs that means you are losing control usually and are in panic mode a very bad place to be. PANIC=CRASH
