| Hello all! Just wondered if anyone can help me! I've just got onto the R/c Heli scene, The biggest mistake I made was thinking that these are TOYS!!... How wrong was I! Anyways, not letting good money go to waste, I'm seeing if anyone can give some advice on getting my heli sorted etc. I've followed all the guidelines on this site i.e balancing the blades etc etc.... but the heli still does not wanna fly!!! Its a Walkera 35 but is very simular to the Zoom/Zap/Shogan. Its seeems to not have enough power to lift off. It has major tail vibrations. and all the other usual drift set up problems but I think I'll be able to scan through this forum to sort some of those out!! Please HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Regards Eddie |

| Re: Help.. Walkera 35CCPM/Zoom/Zap Hi, I also have a walkera 35 and was having problems lifting off after having done all the normal setup (balancing, blade angles etc..) In the end I decided that the problem was either not enough power from the motor, or not enough power TO the motor. So I went and got a 1400mah LiPo battery and tried that and up I went! It also seemed to help the balance a load because on mine the CofG was too far back, but the bigger batteries moved it forwards to under the main shaft. The jittering is probably the servo's if you have done the rest of the setup correctly, I replaced all of my stock ones with Hitec HS-55's and it's really benefitted from this, no jitters and much smoother flying! All I want to do now is convert the tail to belt driven because I seem to be stripping the teeth on the tail drive gear for a past time!! Hope this helps and happy hovering! |
