22a blade tracking problem

with the 22a and Hornet II, the tracking adjustment is done by screwing the blade holder connecting rod, for the low blade, counter clockwise (lengthening it).

I've got the blades perfectly ballanced (weren't too far out to begin with)

In my case, this 360 deg. turn of the connector is too much adjustment and the low blade goes high. the ball connector only goes onto the ball from one side forcing the full 360 turn.

Is there any other adjustment that will help true up the tracking?

thanks in advance!
