esky honeybee refused to lift off

I crashed my esky honeybee few days ago - the rotor head set was damaged but when I tried to replace it, the rotor head was glued tight to the center hub. I managed to hack away the rotor head after much effort but didn't want to use glue just in case. After the repair, the honeybee refused to lift off. Does anybody know if the rotor head needs to be glued to the center hub? If so, how high should it be glued - I didn't notice the position when I hack away the part.

Thanks in advance,
Bell206
