hummingbird's 3-d capabilities?

I'm thinking about purchasing a hummingbird elite with collective pitch. I assume since it's collective pitch that perhaps it can do some 3-d manuevers. If anyone owns a humming bird and may be able to inform me of some things that it can or can not do please let me know. I'm mainly curious if it can hover inverted. Thanks guys

According to the guy at my local hobby store, he says you can do anything you want with a collective pitch heli.

As a side note I *just* bought a humming bird v3 100% RTF fixed pitch (didn't have enough $$$ for CP) and I was able to charge the thing up and it was ready.

Being extremely new to R/C heli's I was able to get it off the ground for about 20 seconds on the first charge. The battery actually lasted for about 30 minutes. I have much practice to do before I get more than a couple feet off the ground.

It even seems pretty durable. and looking at the manufacturers website, the replacement parts are very reasonable pricewise. Knowing that its not gonna cost me a mortgage payment to repair it is reassuring.

A little about Hummingbird Elite

I have a Hummingbird Elite FP. It is my second. I upgraded from a version 2 some time ago. This FP is upgradeable to CP (Collective Pitch).

The hummingbird flies well. I still consider myself a beginner, but I've been able to do figure 8's and various other kinds of 2D moves. I see no reason why a CP version could not do 3D moves.

I've also found Century's tech support to be helpful. They seem to know their product pretty well.

As it turns out, I am wanting to upgrade and have this Hummingbird for sale. Below is the eBay link, but I'd be willing to work something else out. On eBay is the works: the heli, radio, batteries and all spare parts, boxes and manuals.

Let me know if you have any questions.
