question about little gear thingy on new motor

I have an esky honey bee king 2 and i am going to get the EK5-0005 brushless motor and i am wondering if the little gear thingy that the motors need to turn the big main gear comes allready on it. Because in the pictures i have seen of the motor there is no little gear on it. If it doesn't come already on the motor is there a way to take the gear thingy off the old motor?By "little gear" i mean the thingy that has "teeth" on it and it is located at the end of the shaft that spins when the motor runs.
