New to RC Heli & found Co-Comanche

I love the Comanche Helicopter in real life so when I saw this lil Esky Co-Comanche I decided I might buy it. Is it a good indoor helicopter for the money compared to what is available? I love fully modding all my toys, is this one worth modding? I plan on buying the mentioned parts all at once. I want to paint the spare body flat black w/ silver military font and add lights to the tail and nose.

Heli: Esky Co-Comanche 2.4ghz for about $120
http://www.rc711.com/shop/product_in...roducts_id=838

Upgrades: Adjustable Performance Pack: $60
http://www.helipal.com/lp-0009-ultim...ma-series.html

Airy 5x stronger Blades: $30
http://www.helipal.com/5-x-harden-bl...ma-series.html

Comanche Crash Pack: $40
http://www.helipal.com/co-comanche-c...rash-pack.html

$250 total. Worth it?

Any feedback would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

Sam

Re: New to RC Heli & found Co-Comanche

KDS 450c 3D is too much copter for a beginner.
Any of the coaxials like the Esky or Blade CX/CX2 would be great for a beginner. Wet your feet, learn orientation, hovering, forward/backward flight etc then when you're ready, move up to something bigger and harder to fly.

Too many people have quit this great hobby because they started off with more heli than they could manage. Like anything, you gotta grow into it.

I almost bought the Esky but went with the CX2 instead. Blade 400 next, then Trex or better.

Read about the esky on different forums. It's not all great, but if that's all you can afford, go for it! It looks really cool and it'll make you want more in a couple of months or so. This hobby is addictive!!!!

Hi Benzee,

If you get a Blade 400 3D, there isnt much to choose between a Blade and a Trex450. Get a Trex 500, 600 or 600N as the next move after a Blade 400 3D.

Take care... Azzy

I agree. If I go blade 400 (which looks like it 'cause of $$), I'll get a large heli after that.
