Upgrade Time! (New Chopper, but what one!?!)

I have a walkera 22e, first heli, yeah its ok, but its too skittery for me.

I had it 3 days and it was in the air, 1 week and its hovering, and 3 crashes in total, 2 ball joints, 1 set of blades.. not bad i rekon, Radds The Man.

Now i've been having too many problems with Walkera and I hear alot of people bagging them, so im thinking of selling and upgrading..

BUT

To what chopper? What do people reccomend?

Chuur from Aotearoa

Re: Upgrade Time! (New Chopper, but what one!?!)

Nitro is good value for money, better flight times and more easy to fly than the little electrics.

Align make the Trex which is a good make...they produce the 450 series electrics which are good for the money...they also make the larger 50 size nitro powered type...meant to be pretty good too.

Whatever you get, make sure parts are easy to get...get something that is common in your country...you might have to search around....type in 'little rotors' sometime...theres a kiwi guy who runs the site...might be able to advise.

Re: Upgrade Time! (New Chopper, but what one!?!)

I just bought the Blade 400 a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. It came with everything you need to fly including a very good radio. I am not sure what parts are available in Spain but here the e-flite stuff is most common as well as Trex. My budy has a Trex 450sev2 and likes it just fine but more money than the blade with the same radio. Spectrum Dx6i. Whatever you get enjoy. Bassmangolf

Check out the Compass Helis at MTA Hobbies or Heliproz. They have very inexpensive replacement parts, an important point for beginners.
