| E-sky E-smart rc helo Hello- well i was just looking around before i bought my BELT-Cp from a honny store and i saw this on the esky SZ-TWF site thingy- well heres the link/ is it new?? coz its either that one or the belt cp and i gota decide quick- thanks guys  http://www.twf-sz.com/english/products.asp?prodid=0203 Ta

| Re: E-sky E-smart rc helo Yes it's new and it's BIG. It's a 550 size which means that it is the size of a 30 nitro. They make a couple of versions from all plastic to metal and cf. They are priced very well but the batteries won't be cheap. I have been looking at one as a step up from the TRex and for something that can stand more wind but I can't decide if I wan't to go that way or just go with a nitro heli.

| Re: E-sky E-smart rc helo Yeh well, 1 thanks for the info 2.. well nitros are smelly and noisy and require a proper ground... but they will handle the winds much better than the e-smart.. mainly because of the power in the engine etc... not that i have any experiance Well i guess its all up to your budget and where you live Regards Tim Oh yeh ive started another thread under e-flite about my new heli to-be gonna be great with a Spektrum dx6i (think thats right <<) And its considerably biger than the Belt CP wich i was gonna buy :LD Cant wait til the 18th april

| Re: E-sky E-smart rc helo Are you getting a blade 400? That is the only larger eflite that I know of and it's Trex size. You are absolutly correct about the nitro helis except for the power part. I recently got to fly one and it was a pain to get/keep running. The nitro guys like to tell you that unlike with batteries you can fly all day with nitro but what they really mean is that with nitro you need all day to get in the air!

| Re: E-sky E-smart rc helo AHAHHAHA- really? i did notice that before.. the nitros seem more sluggish in the power part than the eletrics which are way more zappy-- But i guess you get that with a bigger helo??? or is it the whole idea of lugging fuel, big heavy metal motor, electronics just to fly??? Well anyway, yes i am getting the e-flite Blade 400 3D to be precise I cant wait to get it, ive watched many movies about it and have seen that its Very Loud! Cant wait tho-- And it seems to fly way more smoother than a smaller eletric eg Belt cp Well anyway i noticed that it came (as stock) with a 420? outrunner? I saw a clip of somone spinning it up and boy was i shocked when i saw the complete motor spin.. i guess this helps it cool down and get better performance??Regards Tim

| Re: E-sky E-smart rc helo I think that about the most powerfull rc heli that I've heard about recently is a 90 size that has a FIVE HP electric motor! A 90 nitro has about three hp I think so it is a large increase. The trade off is shorter flight times but unreal performance. I've heard good things about the Blade 400 and the Spectrum radios so you should be getting a good setup. Outrunner motors have more torque and run cooler than inrunners but inrunners are more efficient. Outrunners turn slower so they require different gearing to get the same headspeed.
