Binding Help

Ok, I have an Align RCE-B3X that is powered by an Align 7.4v 1900 mAh going into an AR7000 reciever that will be controlled by a Spektrum 6i. Any information I have on the "binding" process shows a setup unlike mine. I don't have a seperate switch to power-up the reciever that has a charging wire coming off of it for the binding plug. The RCE has the on/off switch but only a wire for the battery and a wire the reciever. Am I missing something?? If anyone understands my post please help!!

Re: Binding Help

Just put the bind plug into the binding port on the reciever and power up your bird as normal, recievers should flash indicating that they are in binding mode. Hold your binding switch as you turn on your tx and wait for rx to stop flashing. Turn off rx and remove binding plug. you should now be bounded.

Re: Binding Help

Thanks zzclass. My reciever didn't have a binding plug slot per se so I ended up placing the binding plug into the battery slot (on the reciever) and powering the reciever through one of the other available slots. That worked...

Re: Binding Help

Your welcome. I have the dx6i with the same diagram and it took me a while to figure it out also as mine is powered by the esc. They assume that we have a seperate battery for the reciever.
