| TREX 600 build Ok, after reviewing some of the TREX build instructions I see that they reference a "T43" tread lock as well as a "CA" glue. Can anybody shed some light on these two products and if they have any equals that are more easily found as substitutes?? ![]() |

| Re: TREX 600 build Hi DonutCity For the thread lock you can use some good old Blue Permatex Threadlocker . Be sure that you get the blue stuff though. The red is to strong and you will have a real hard time getting things apart if you can get them apart at all. CA glue is really nothing more than Supper Glue.

| Re: TREX 600 build There are several different thicknesses of Super Glue. Be sure to get the appropriate one. Thin is like water and dries very quickly, especially if the parts fit snugly. Medium is a little thicker and dries more slowly. Thick is usually only used on constructions where gaps need to be filled. In any case, do not use an accelerator (an aerosol that dries the glue almost instantly). It weakens the bond.

| Re: TREX 600 build Thanks for the info uneverno - I found a "super glue" product with a little working time. Hopefully it will keep those metal to plastic pieces bonded... ![]()
