Upgrading Walkera 36 to full metal

Hi all
First post here
I am waiting for metallic parts ( Metal Rotor Head and Tail Set) for my walkera 36 which is now all plastic.
I would like to ask you for instructions to perform the upgrade + hint and tips for this operation.
Waiting for your replies
Many thanks

Re: Upgrading Walkera 36 to full metal

On the 36 the parts are the same except for the materials so just swap them out. Just be sure that you assemble the alloy head and tail with BLUE loctite on the screws. Using the blue Loctite allows you to take it apart if you need to, No Loctite allows the Heli to come apart in flight!
Another thing that I've found to be helpfull on the 36 is that when you have the head apart, Lightly file or sand the slot in the mainshaft that the pitch slider slides in. Don't go crazy just clean out any burrs. This will smooth out the pitch changes and will help the little plactic tab that rides in that slot last longer.
