Exclamation can a transmitter...

burn up? i got a new one and it does not seem to work it smells burt up but i have never bought a new one and not sure if it is a new smell or a burnt smell.can someone tell if new transmitters smell burnt?

In my 28 years of R/Cing I've never had a new transmitter smell burnt. Kinda weird and plasticy but not burnt.

Easiest answer, take out the batteries, unscrew the back & you will see burns very easily.
