E-Sky for Christmas. I need help getting started

Hi...I'm new to the hobby and to this forum. I received an E-Sky Electric RC Honey Bee King 2 heli as a gift from my wife. I charged the batteries and attempted to fly with a training kit. The main rotor spun a few times and stopped. The RC controller seems to work but the motor does not turn the blades. I went to a local hobby shop, the only one around and the person in the store told me to go back to the internet (where it was bought) for help. Anyone that can help me get started would be appreciated. It's a six chanel heli. Thanks

I had the same problem. Bought mine from Bannana hobby . I had to send it back to them, which was a chore. They replaced the motor which was defective. I am currently trying to find the best sim to allow me to fly this heli without having to replace parts all the time. You might want to watch some of NIGHTFLYYER video's on "You Tube". He has some that will help you to get started.

don't feel bad the factory motor is junk lasted less than 2 weeks on mine. started burning out as soon as I put any load under it I deal with raiden tech one of their managers norman sent me a note with the direct replacement for the king. Bit of advise for testing use a belt and strap it to a table thru the landing gear if you do accidentally get it running unexpectedly. the king has some serious power and could really hurt you or it.. im not kidding here and ABSOLUTELY do not turn off the controler with power to the model. mc

thats not a joke i got a belt cp and while working on it (my stupid mistake for not un pluging the motor) hit the throttle and there went the main gear in a split seceond tho the belt cp is brushless it chewed it up like stake dinner now i have to wait on a replacement these choppers have power so always safty first !! if you look on line you can find a replacement brushless kit for around 50 or 60 bucks for the huny bee king 2 and it will give you a little more power and flight time

While you are waiting for the new part, watch some of the videos by NIGHTFLYYER on You Tube. He will help you either thru the video or thru E-mail to him. He seems dedicated to help others make helicopters something they can enjoy and not hate . Try to keep the blades up.
