Re: what is a bind plug????

I have no idea. Could you describe where it is located? Maybe we know it by a different name?

Re: what is a bind plug????

A bind plug is like a key, it unlocks your receiver to work ONLY with your transmitter. how ever Spektrum say use it via the on/off switch, then they state on/off switch not supplied
So here is a photo of where to use it on the Blade 400

Re: what is a bind plug????

What the plug does is put the reveiver into "bind" mode so it can lock onto the signal
from the transmitter..

Then the receiver will only work with THAT transmitter. Once it's bound, it should not
normally need to be rebound but sometimes it loses it's lock and you have to do it again.

When binding, you insert the plug into the "bat" position on the receiver, like shown in the picture above, and then you plug in the battery for the helicopter. Finally you turn on the
transmitter while holding the binding button or switch and wait while the two lock up.

There is usually a wait of about 20 seconds or so. Then unplug everything and you should be good to go.
