Talking Any Hoverfly owners/fliers here?

I've seen the little video on the http://www.snelflight.co.uk/ site and decided this thing is just too cute to pass up. Seeing as I've just spent a bunch of dough on a Raptor 50 which hasn't even shown up yet, I convinced my brother to buy it. Truth be told, it took very little to convince him, as he had me play the video 5 times for him!

Has anyone seen a Hoverfly buzzing about, and if so, would they please share their thoughts on it? I haven't seen it yet, but it does look like a ton of indoor fun.

Hi Gigi,

I have not only seen the hoverfly but own one. I have recently written a post about this.
I bought it so that I could teach my son to fly heli's in the saftey of our house.
I would recomend it to anyone. As far as flight being similar to the gas models, it is very similar but you do need to be more possative with the control inputs if useing the controler supplied with it.

If you have any questions about it. I would be very pleased to answer them.
Here is a pic of my son flying ours.( Cause I use it too )
Regards
Daz

P.S You can see what I have said about the Hoverfly in the general discussion section.

Talking Thanks for the reply

It looks so cool, I can hardly wait until the 16th, when my brother will be coming back with his Hoveryfly. I plan on being there for the maiden flight. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I were to be the designated test pilot.

I'll post some feed-back in due time.

Just a word about the gyro, if you find that the heli needs constant input to stop it from spiraling then you can open the box that the heli plugs into and you can adjust the gyro sensor till its to your liking.
Other than that there is nothing else to do exept have fun get good with piroets and nose in flying, not to mention flying curcuits around your room.
Post a pic when you are flying it so I can see you enjoying your hoverfly too.

Regards
Daz
