Looking for 1st Electric Chopper

So many different makes and models, what would one recommend for the 1st?I'm not looking to spend the money and then have to up-grade later either. Any help is appreciated.

trex 450 or 600.

The trex 600 looks to be a great heli....but check out the price of the battery packs first....very expensive....but then you have to weigh up what you would pay for fuel...comparing the life of the battery pack etc etc.

I have a Friend who owns a 450 Trex and its a lovely little heli....spares dont cost the earth and its a very popular heli....bit tricky to fly at first but it can be tamed.

Well im gonna tell the truth, im 14 and have no patience what so ever so I only kind i have ever bought is the RTF Ready-To-Fly they are cheap so if your new to it you wouldnt be losing a truck load of money when you break it like i broke mine i flew it too high and a gust took that so far so fast but atleast i learned how to fly...gotta find a new one...

I've been buying a lot of stuff from Helihobby.com, they have many different brands of electric and nitro. They also offer a Trex 600 ready to fly for 1900.00, I can't find any other dealer that offers that.

midwest-rc.com has a t-rex 600 for $1300.00 and there are some on e-bay for around $850.00 without a radio
