i see.. well i like the look of the blade cp a lot more. so if there really isnt much diff then i guess that would be ok. whats the reason you would go for the honeybee?

ok
the only and i mean only differnce between these 2 models is rotor head design
they are run by bascially the same label
the real diff is how the rotor head differinciates slop
on the blade cp it is known that there will be zero slop
where as on the honeybee there can be accumlivate slop
(which most users dont even see aka dct)
but its a possiablity
i say go for honeybee cp2
stronger skids
and a nice bird to learn inverted
(im not inverting on my 36 until i can do it on honeybee cp2 perfectly when i get it)

Re: e-flite blade cp vs honeybee cp2

Do you like spending more money for a lot less helicopter?? Then get the Blade cp if not then....
Get the Honey Bee cp2.... I know what I'm talking about,,, I own both...
You can get a Honey Bee cp2 like I did off of E-bay with shipping NEW STILL IN BOX,,for about $150.00 it comes with 3 D blades and better head,, and better battery,,,and it has a stronger landing gear!!!Part are a lot cheaper for it also..... So,, you tell me.... If you like the looks of the Blade cabin better,,,, just order one and put it on your Honey Bee cp2 with very little work........ To get the same up-graded parts ,, that the Honey Bee cp2 comes with would cost you over $300.00 with the Blade cp!!!!

Re: e-flite blade cp vs honeybee cp2

Hey Fade

I have the Blade Cp and it is a good heli , but like DCT wrote you do have to send about $70.00Usd to upgrade it to a 3D heli. with the heli costing around $220.00Usd, DCT is right you'll send near $300.00 Usd. From all i have read about the HBcp2 it flys just as well as a Blade. The for the Blade part are more costly. the landing gear is an easy fix with Aluminum coat hanger wire which really makes it strong. The only reason I see getting a Blade over a Hbcp2 is due you have LHS with a good stock of parts for one heli over the other. It's nice not to have to wait two weeks to get parts. The only other thing I can say is the Blade stock battery is heavy and short lived, about 10 mins flight time. I used a 7.4 Lipo instead of the 9.6 Nimh standard battery, this gave me about 30 mins flight time per charge. Also if you go to my web pages on the Sauage link page is a link that compares both helis item for item.
