Ok,

I have learned to hover around 5' pertty well. It took some time and money but it was worth it. Just when i thought i had it down...I was put in my place.
I was reading an artical on heli flight last night when i noticed something that caught me by surprise.

I live in the US so my tx is Mode 2....This articial went on to describe what stick movements do what...(EX. left stick throttle/rudder and rt. stick ele/aliron.....Everything seemed ok but one thing..... This articial stated that when you move the rudder stick to the right the nose goes rt. the tail moves left...and when you move the rudder stick left the nose moves left the tail moves right.

Well I have learned just the opposite.....which ever way i move my stick that is the direction the tail moves.(stick right tail right stick left tail left)

Please tell me I have not learned wrong...if so is there anything wrong with how i fly....I have tried reversing my rudder but cant seem to control the heli....just like im starting all over...when the tail moves one direction i automaticialy with out thinking make the wrong move.

well, theres 2 differnt ways to see it
1. tail in where ur loking at the heli from its tail facing u
2.nose in where the nose is facing u
he prolly was talking in a differnt face-refrence point then u say it thru

I'm sorry to say you have got it backwards..... LOL But I'm sure with just a little effort you can over come it and do It the American way LOL...... The Right way is as the article you read stick right nose right....tail goes left... but I can say it might be helpful when you move to forward flight and the hell is facing you, at that time it may play in your favor... Or LOL you curse.....

Ya know, I feel really, and I mean really stupid. Umm,,, er.... {ahem}, uuh ... guess I haz it backwards too .... LOL

My God the details we miss sometimes! Or is it the fine Engrish manuals we get. Jeez!

i didnt want to mislead people into thinking im actually doin it
