| Dragonfly #5 electronics problem Hi there, I am struggling with the following electronic problems: they all loose signal (LED changes from steady red to slow blinking) during flight randomly. 2 out of the 3 helis I had so far could be shaken a little in order to find the signal again. Servo movement was then ok, but as soon as I pushed the throttle a little forward the signal disappeared... (red LED slowly blinking again). Sometimes, when powering up, the heli searches the rc (LED blinking fast for minutes) but cannot find it. I have to switch off, wait a couple of minutes and then it finds it again (or not...). Strange thing here too: when the LED is blinking fast, searching for the rc, and I switch the rc off, the LED starts blinking slow! It has kind of a signal but does not change to steady red. Strange enough, a friend of mine has two of them out of the same lot and runs them without any problems. Next thing we do is exchanging helis to check the impact of the environment. Some probs indicate disturbance from outside, some probs might be from the heli transmitter, I do not know. Any ideas? Thanks a lot and you all have a great day, XL |

| If you are in an urban area you could be getting interference [power lines, local transmitters, other rc users nearby]-extend TX antenna fully and try moving RX antenna[wrap around both skids or to tail boom and back].Greater exposure of RX antenna may improve signal strength-Dragonfly transmitters are kind of weak to begin with so they need all the help you can give them.

| Re: Dragonfly #5 electronics problem Thanks for the quick answer. Guess it is not disturbance from the outside, as my second heli works just fine with the same battery at the same time. Out of 5 helis so far 3 showed this problem... I keep getting replacement helis, but there seems to be a problem with the electronics. Cheers, Juerg |
