Re: Which one to buy.......help? Well, i asked them if the 35 came with metal or plastic gears. Hobbyjapan advertised metal tail gears, I didn't notice untill I ordered it, and I asked about my order since my credit card was charged and no tracking number had been sent. When he replid he said it came with plastic gears, but would try to contact walkera about the upgrade and said nothing about my order. I plugged in the charger both lights were on plugged in battery only the green light was on, according to the brief instructions only the red light should be on when charging. After 2 hours the battery wasn't even warm and I could barely hold the charger because it was so hot. Doesn't really matter, I have a NiCd/Ni-MH charger anyway.

Re: Which one to buy.......help? Oh, that sucks! I know of a website that sells Blue plastic gear sets that are suppose to be less likely to strip, so as I find it, I'll post it for ya.

Re: Which one to buy.......help? Found it, Helidirect.com. They have all sorts of metal parts & upgrades for Walkera #35, but they should fit all walkera's using the same parts.

Re: Which one to buy.......help? Yeah, thanks. They say they last longer, but plastic is still plastic. I went ahead and ordered the belt drive upgrade kit from helidirect. Do you know if I can get a bigger tail fin, my heli sets on it and it needs to be about 1/2-1 inch longer so its sits flat on the landing skids.

Re: Which one to buy.......help? Not really, but, I'd imagine you could use a set off a t-rex or something like it. they a basically the same chopper. Try t-rex OEM replace parts or such. Helihobby has all that kind stuff, maybe something universal. Just why is your heli so tail heavy? shouldn't be sitting on the tail anyway, the center of gavity should be under the main shaft.

Re: Which one to buy.......help? I don't have a clue. I got the advanced package, now that I swicthed out the motors the tail doesn't touch the ground, but the front of the skids are still a little off the ground. The brushless motor and speed controller both weigh less than the original motor, that helped alot. I could move the gyro about an inch closer to the body would that help?
