specifications for heli

i've been practicing on real flight G3 for a little while now and have decided to go electric. but i dont want to have to upgrade a helicopter right out of the box to go 3d or replace cheap parts often(tail motor going out) or whatever. what i would like to know from everybody is what is the best electric heli out there.
-preferably belt or shaft tail drive.(whichever you guys think is the best)
-brushless motor.
-3D capable out of the box.
-comes with everything needed(even radio).
or anything that comes close to these specifications
any replies are greatly appreciated. thanks.

Re: specifications for heli

also ive seen these upgrades for the tail motors on the blade heli. a plate that converts to two tail motors. what do you guys think about this. i think it shouldnt have been put on the market until it was a little better. you shouldnt have to upgrade something unless you want more power or longer lasting flight times. you shouldnt have to upgrade just to keep flying stock. am i wrong? but if these dual motors are working then i wouldnt mind the blade. other than not being a brushless. and of course needing to upgrade the main blades? anyway. thanks again.

Re: specifications for heli

Sorry for saying so but you are asking for something that is not on the market yet you have to accepet the fact that all in 1 has a lot of limitations.

Re: specifications for heli

is there anything close? ive been checking out the E-Sky ccpm brushless/lithium combo package. basically the same heli as the blade but comes with the brushless motor and esc needed for brushless motors also lithium battery. they claim 15-20 min running time.also comes with radio and servos. the only thing is the small motor on the tail. has anyone tried this dual tail motor set up yet? if so how well is it working and how well did the mount work. any modifications required to mount it? the battery it comes with is 1350 mah 11.1v. is this a good battery? also comes with charger. and futaba radio and micro gyro. align brushless esc 25A BEC.
any opinions about this set up are welcome. and any reply is appreciated. thanks.

Re: specifications for heli

Dual tail motors I have no idea never tested them as for 15-20 min running times it looks too much to me 8-15 looks more like it as for the rest i'm with you as long as you do try to fly outdoors with the slitest breeze. An other option is the t-rex 450xl ccpm that is closer to your options but much more expensive very stable and stands a fare amount of wind

Re: specifications for heli

i was thinking the same thing about the flight time. 15-20 min. sounds like alot. like i said , they "claim". ive messed around with electric r/c stadium trucks (duratrax evader)and also the 4x4 Emaxx monster truck. neither lasted longer than 10-12 min. i also own a savage(4x4 monster truck) nitro powered. its awsome but i think id rather have an electric heli.
when you say slightest breeze..........? how much of a breeze are we talking here? b/c i will definatly be outside. is it really hard to fly in wind/slight breeze? of course the lighter the heli the more its effected by wind. but the heavier the less flight time you will have due to more strain on electronics. unless you can convince me to go nitro. other than price and tuning the motor i dont see a problem with nitro. you guys already know this. but anyway thanks for your opinion Old Man. and any other opinions/replies are greatly appreciated. thanks.

Re: specifications for heli

Well my opinion is go nitro i do not have a nitro but the only reazon is that i fly in my back yiard about 1000 sq meters i may get one later for the moment i fly trex for 6 months with no crash at all. It can stand some even a lot of wind if you fight with the sticks but in strong wind it's not flying but fighting to come out in one piece, i also had a twister - honey bee well it's gone i tryed to fly out doors in the slidest breeze it was going all over the place and finaly destroid, do not believe when they say indoor and outdoor fly this light helis are not for outdoor what ever they say unles you are a pro but even then i do not believe it unles i see it. On the other hand there is a posibility that i'm stupid and too old thats why i can not fly light helis in the slitest breeze.

Cool Re: specifications for heli

The dual tail motor setup simply splits the voltage between the motors making the brushes last longer. It also adds weight making it tail heavy. As far as gear or belt drive, belt is better choice as gears can strip.
