| Re: where to start, twister fp ? cp ? argh interesting... the problem is if i want to fly indoors i have to travel to a large hall or a special indoor heli evening. I want something that i can learn in the garden, the CP might be a good choice. The FP heli's in the UK are around £150!!! for the kit. I'm seeing dragonfly's on ebay straight from Hong Kong for £50 with everything. Why do we get ripped off. I tell you...model shops are greedy, they don't want people to enjoy the hobby at a reasonable price like in the USA. thanks |

| The model shops can't compete with Ebay dealers who don't have a warehouse or overhead like the shops do.A lot of Ebay dealers are just middlemen who take the order and pass it on to the distributor and get a percentage for their trouble. The advantage of going to a local shop is help and support for your purchase. You can't get that from China! You might find a Honeybee CP on Ebay for a decent price-in UK they call it the twister.

| I would just like to add that most people burn up the 4 in 1 because they don't kill the throttle when crashing! If you don't kill the throttle, the motors still try to run and a amperage surge burns up the electronic speed control[ESC] always kill throttle if you are going to hit something! It is cheaper to replace blades or skids than a 4 in 1 unit.

| Re: where to start, twister fp ? cp ? argh you'll do fine if you get a belt driven tail heli with a brushless and li-poly, wheter it be a dragonfly 36, a shogun, or TRex you'll do good to get any one of those.
