Piccolo Collective Pitch vs. Fixed Pitch

I'm currently flying a FP Piccolo and being pretty happy about, primary as I don't know anything else. However, there are a lot of comments that Collective Pitch is the Upgrade to consider?

Others recommend to replace the plastic parts (Hub, Swashplate, Head etc) by Aluminum parts and additionally to get some carbon fiber paddles / rotor blades. They comment that the collective pitch modification is too much for the Piccolo - regardless of using a brushless motor or not.

So what is your experience and recommendation?

Re: Piccolo Collective Pitch vs. Fixed Pitch

when you go CP you will want brushless and Li-poly
if you go CP in one crash you will break many parts
compared to the FP
When you get close to 3D
you will be Happy you bought a Hornet or a Zoom
with Cp its nice to loose the electric motor tail
