CX2 Outer and Inner Shaft Replacement/Swap

Good Evening Guys and Gals. I would really appreciate some help here. I have a Blade CX2 and noticed today while replacing the red stock fuselage that my inner shaft appeared bent, because the upper rotor head wobbled when it spun. After I removed the inner shaft and saw that it was bent I also noticed that my outer shaft was bent. I have acquired the parts and started taking my heli apart. I have encountered a snag. The outer shaft retaining collar is so tight that I cant get it loose with the issued screwdriver. Anyone have any suggestions ?? I dont want to strip the screw or damage my heli ?? Anyone else had this problem ? Have a recommendation on how to get that collar off safely ?? Thanks in advance !!
Steve

Re: CX2 Outer and Inner Shaft Replacement/Swap

try heating the part up....use a soldering iron...place this on the screw head...that way the heated screw might expand a bit...as it shrinks again it might loosen.

Be careful not to get burnt, and be careful of any plastic parts that might get melted.

Re: CX2 Outer and Inner Shaft Replacement/Swap

I had to use a small drill bit and drill mine out. Used a allen head screw to replace it.
