The Importance of Reading Instructions...

So, I recently bought a CNC extended upper head w/ shaft from KR Hobbies. It worked great.

But, y'know, in the instructions? There's a little note that says to use blue loc-tite on the tiny screw on the cap that holds on the flybar. You probably ought to follow that instruction.

'cause it's hard to land a CX2 safely without a flybar.

lol yeah it would be a little hard to land. I used red loc-tite, it was all I had.
It is a little stronger hold, didn't hurt a thing.

Re: The Importance of Reading Instructions...

I would use the red stuff as a last resort, it really does a good job...but a bit too good IMO.

Of interest though, I have noticed that all the helis I have messed about with all have 1/16'' size allen screws as their smallest common size...its strange that we get supplied 1.5mm keys with which to use on this size screw...which usually round off resulting in much heartache and stress. Stock up on a 1/16'' allen wrench...just in case.
