Does E-Flight have crappy shafts?

I'm wondering if the E-Flight shafts for the cx2 are junk. I crashed my copter hard and bent both shafts. I have bought 2 sets of upper and lower shafts and all 4 shafts were bent coming out of the package.

Re: Does E-Flight have crappy shafts?

I Had a similar problem until I checked the runout with the blades removed and found that the upper bearing holder was not concentric. The inner and outer shafts did not share the same center which caused a serious wobble. I replaced the stock plastic with a machined aluminum bearing holder and problem solved.
Maybe I just got lucky?

That's a great idea! Since I made the original post, I have crafted my own shafts from carbon fiber (avail at LHS) and installed an aluminum bearing as well. It flies much better now.
