Tail Boom

How do I change the boom is it glued? How do I get it out?

its held in with the same graphite rods that your canopy is lashed to. just pull the rear rod out and remove the battery tray and it should fall off.

The BD400 uses a traction band which goes thru the boom from the main body to the tail, in order to remove the tail boom you have to remove the whole tail rotor assembly first and be sure that this band is loose so you can pull the boom out, there are four screws that holds the boom in place at the main body "only by pressure" there is no lock or something, just loose them and pull the boom out. To reinstall it refer to the manual that comes wih the heli in order to install the band with the correct twist.

if is a CP or CX the boom is not glued, supposdely you can take it apart easily, but in my case I never couldnt make it, I used a drill very carefully in order to remove it from its place.
